The Critics:

Leslie Sbrocco is a wine writer, broadcaster and speaker who believes wine should not be feared nor revered, simply enjoyed. She is the author of the new book Wine for Women, A Guide to Buying, Pairing and Sharing Wine (William Morrow Publishers), and has been featured in many publications including the Chicago Tribune, Miami Herald, New York Times, New York Post, O! the Oprah Magazine, USA Today and others. Wine for Women recently won the 2003 Georges Duboeuf Book of the Year award.

Leslie is a regular wine columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, and her work also appears in Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Coastal Living and other publications.

She is the national wine contributor on the new PBS cooking show “Seasonings” and appears on television and radio programs around the country, including the Today Show and CNN. Prior to completing her book, Leslie was a wine review columnist for The New York Times on the Web and wine correspondent for CBS television's Evening Magazine. She is the 2004 keynote speaker at the Boston Wine Expo and The Washington D.C. International Food and Wine Festival, and a frequent judge at The San Francisco International Wine Competition and the Los Angeles County Fair.
