Elin McCoy

Elin McCoy writes a monthly column for the Bloomberg News Service and has been a Contributing Editor at Food & Wine magazine for 23 years. Elin also is Gourmet Editor for Smoke.

Elin has written on wine and spirits for publications such as New York, Forbes, Money, House & Garden, House Beautiful, Drink and Las Vegas Life. With her husband John Frederick Walker, she has co-authored four books on wine and food, including The Signet Book of American Wine and Thinking about Wine.

McCoy has served as a wine judge in many American and international competitions, and as a judge of the wine and spirits category of the James Beard Foundation awards. She is a regular speaker at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado.
